Value of Caregiving

There are no figures or amounts of money that could ever be applied to the concept of caregiving. Many have attempted, however, the act of caregiving encompasses a level of sacrifice that only a caregiver can explain. According to the caregiveraction.org, 65 million people, 29% of the US population serve as caregivers for an aged friend or family member at an estimated cost of $375 billion a year. The typical caregiver is a 49 year old female.
